Energy Tower I

Located at the corner of Kirkwood and Interstate 10, the Energy Tower I Building represents the first significant high rise development on the north side of Interstate 10 (from 610 Loop to Park 10) since the Conoco Oil Co. and Shell Oil Co. corporate office developments.

This unique development is quickly becoming a West Houston landmark as "The Gateway to The Energy Corridor." Energy Tower I is a 339,559 gross-square-foot, 14-story, Class A office building situated on the easternmost 5-acres of Energy Plaza Office Park.

Its strategic location allows direct access to Interstate 10 (the most prominent east/west thoroughfare in Houston) and immediate access to Beltway 8 (the most significant north/south thoroughfare in West Houston).



 

Energy Tower I contains a 1,400-car parking structure which provides direct access into the north lobby of the building through a striking 100-foot, environmentally enclosed connecting link. The link not only establishes substantial separation between the building and parking structure allowing for enhanced landscaping in the two northern green belts, but also provides direct entry into the Energy Tower I Health Club facility.

The Energy Tower I Health Club contains a men's and women's locker room complete with showers, masseuse room, whirlpool, sauna and state-of-the-art exercise equipment. The interior decor of the project is impeccable. The connecting link, north lobby, elevator lobby, elevators and south lobby, are appointed with stone floors, granite walls, coffered and barrel-rolled ceilings, and expansive butt-joined glass. This design concept is consistent through the remaining upper thirteen floor elevator lobbies which are accessible through six high-speed passenger elevators and a full-height freight elevator.

Particular attention has been given to the overall site to ensure that attractive landscaping accents the prestige of the project. In addition to the 40+ trees which existed, more than 82 trees have been incorporated throughout the front plaza drive, east lawn and both northern courtyards.  Complementing the landscaping is an attractive water feature that spans over half an acre at the front of the entryway into the building.  As an additional benefit to Energy Tower I's classic architecture, its design makes it one of the most efficient office buildings in West Houston.

The typical building floor plate averages approximately 23,600 rentable square feet, providing efficient layouts for both multi-tenant and single tenant users. Energy Tower I offers exceptional quality with maximum economy.
